Frizzy Hair Problems? Worry No More!
June 29, 2017

Life in a metro city like Delhi comes with its pros and cons. While there are always lots of fun things to do and opportunities for everybody abound, one still has to deal with bad weather and high levels of air pollution. The contaminated air, humid weather, untimely rains, and your hectic schedule can leave your face devoid of glow and your hair frizzy. Frizzy hair can be quite a problem, but we’ve found a way out for you. Here are some quick-fix solutions to turn those frizzy tangles into gorgeous waves.

1. Honey

This does not sound like a very good idea, we know, but it can work like magic. Honey is an effective natural moisturiser/conditioner. All you need to do is apply the honey on your hair the way you would do a hair mask and leave it for 30-40 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo, and say hello to soft and shiny locks.

2. Egg

Beat an egg and apply the frothy mix on your hair like a mask. Leave it on for around 40 minutes. Then, wash it off using a mild shampoo. At this stage, we must give you a heads-up. An egg mask can leave a foul smell, especially in the monsoons, both in your bathroom and your hair. But do not worry, that can be cured as well. To get rid of the smell, use a scented serum. This method will completely transform your hair.

3. Aloe Vera Gel

Known for its anti-inflammatory quality that helps to reduce itchiness of the scalp and dandruff, aloe vera gel is also one of the best natural remedies to reduce the frizziness of your hair. It also stimulates hair growth, brings about lustre, and helps to reduce hair fall.

Apply the aloe vera hair mask and keep it on for half an hour. Wash it off with cold water and you’re good to go!

Every desi grandmother has told her little ones that coconut oil is the ultimate hair elixir. And they’re right! Regular application of coconut oil can solve the problems of dry hair, itchy scalp, split-ends and hair loss.

Apply a few drops of coconut oil to your hair every night and wash it off the next morning. You will notice an evident change after a week or two.

5. Beer

Is there anything that beer cannot cure? Made of hops, malt and yeast, beer nourishes the hair with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that are great for its health.

Beer can be mixed with any hair mask. Alternatively, it can be used as a rinse after shampoo.
